William Israel Leach 1861-1922

William Israel Leach was my husband’s great grandfather and father of Herbert Leach.

He was born in 1861 in Hulme, Lancs to Aaron and Elizabeth and lived there all his life.

St Philip, Salford

He married Sarah Stott on 6th October 1879 at St Philip's Church, Salford.

They had at least 10 children, 5 of whom had died by the time of the 1911 census.

William was a blacksmith.

The 1911 census shows him lodging at 59 Chester Road, Hulme, Lancs not living with his wife and children.

William died aged 61 in 1922.
