Sarah Barter was my husband's great grandmother.
She was born in Beaminster, Dorset in 1844 to John and Ann.
In 1871 Sarah and William are living at 27 North Wharf Road, Paddington, which is where both of their daughters were born.
The 1881 census shows the family with 2 daughters living at 6, Clarendon St, Paddington.
By 1901 they had moved to Hampden St, Paddington.
Sarah was widowed in 1905 and moved to live with her younger daughter, Ellen, and her family at 50 Portnall Road, Paddington (pictured left) until her death in 1911 aged 67.
