Joseph Slipper 1740-1809

My 5 x gt grandfather was Joseph Slipper, the Father of Joseph Slipper.

He was born in Crostwick, Norfolk in 1740 to Joseph and Mary and baptised on 27th December.

On 23rd October 1765 he married Sarah Pigon in Crostwick, Norfolk.

Joseph was a carpenter and according to the  UK, Register of Duties Paid for Apprentices’ Indentures, 1710-1811, by 1791 he had an apprentice, John Moore.

Joseph died in 1809, aged 67,  from injuries received after falling from scaffolding in London Lane, Norwich, Norfolk. He is buried in St Peter's churchyard, Crostwick, Norfolk.
