Robert Clarkson 1793-1872

Robert was my husband's 3x great grandfather and father of John.

He was born around 1793 and married Ann Broughim at St Mary, Manchester on 28th August 1816.

Robert was an engineer, his marriage certificate gives his occupation as Filer and Turner.

He died in 1872 at the age of 79 and was buried in Manchester General Cemetery. ( Also known as Harpurhey Cemetery, Queens Park Cemetery )
