George was my husband's great, great grandfather and father of William Brooks.
He was born to Edward and Amy in Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire in 1818 and was baptised on 1st November at St Kenelm Parish Church.
George married Sarah Bayham on 27th December 1840 at the Parish Chapel, St Pancras London.
The 1841 census shows George and Sarah living in Coburg St, St Pancras, Middlesex with a young daughter, Emma.
George married Mary Hicks on the 10th August 1856 at Saint James, Paddington.
The 1861 census shows that he was living at 5 Bones Place, Paddington with his wife Mary and family. He was a Coffee House Keeper.
By 1871 they had moved to Irongate Wharf Road, Paddington.
The 1881 and 1891 census show the same address but George is now a Coal Dealer.
George died in Paddington, London in 1893.
